Hong Kong Experience
Hong Kong is just a very beautiful place to be IN. It is 7 hours flight from Mumbai. This was one of long pending destination to visit, specially for Disney Land. Had visited Orlando Disney Land 6 months back and promised myself to take kids to Disney Land. It is mesmerizing experience.
Typically 4-5 nights trip is a good one to cover whole Hong Kong and can take additional day to cover Macau too.
What Did we and kids liked about Hong Kong - Disneyland , Disneyland and Disneyland. Recommending to go to Disneyland if you are planning to visit Hong Kong.
We landed in Hong Kong and went to Hollywood Hotel of Disneyland. The coach journey got into Dreamland the moment we entered Disneyland.
We decided to go inside Disney park next day as it was already 3 pm by the time we checked-in our hotel. We relaxed, changed and went to explore Hong Kong on our own. Local Metro train is Awesome way to explore whole Hong Kong. You can buy a day pass and get unlimited ride in Metro. We boarded the same from Disneyland station and went to most famous Ladies market of Hong Kong. Did some shopping , Roamed around a bit to see Sea View of Hong Kong and came back as we had to start early next day.
Next morning , got ready, all excited to go to Disney Park and meet our favorite characters. Kids were excited to meet Mickey and their wait got over when we met Chef Mickey in Hotel restaurant.
Had our breakfast and started the most amazing journey so far. Kids were simply mesmerized to see Disney Palace. It was definitely little smaller than Orlando Disney but Just Amazing!!!
It was beautiful Sunny day. I promise that anyone who gets into Disney will become kid him/her self. So were we.. Clicked ourselves crazily at every place in Disney Park
It was divided into 7 lands—Adventure land, Grizzly Gulch, Mystic Point, Toy Story Land, Fantasyland, Tomorrow land and Main Street, U.S.A.—filled with beauty, excitement and Disney Characters.
We started our Journey with Main Street and then to Fantasy Land. It had big Disney Palace where we were told that beautiful Princess stay there. Yes!! We met Cindrella, Rapunzel.....
We had many rides including Train to Moon. It was just so dangerous that I kept my eyes closed. This is what I Felt - I am going to Moon, Just Just Wonderful!!!
It opened door to many more rides that I tool last time in Malaysia 4 years back and for Saksh, It was first time!!!
The wait was Over!!! We met Minnie , the most cutest creature!!! Kids loved chatting with her.
Then we met Goofy , Pluto....so sweet dogs. Saksh took Autographs from all...
It was turn to meet most awaited and Special personality in Disney land ...Mr. Mickey...mmmuuuaaahh. Just loved him.
Fun-filled day ended late in night and we reached hotel very tired and energetic both. Next morning was Hong Kong City trip. It started well early 8 am. We finished breakfast and were ready to visit Hong Kong City once again!! Hong Kong has beautiful Sea line/view. Clicked just amazing pics. It looks more beautiful in night. They run a laser and sound show in the night called Avenue of Stars. Saw some Diamond factory, some clicks, some shopping.......
Next in list was Victoria Peak , Out-of-this-world view of skyscrapers, the glittering harbor and the green hills of the distant New Territories.
Victoria Peak is a mountain in the western half of Hong Kong Island. It is also known as Mount Austin, and locally as The Peak. Went on top of peak and clicked beautiful view

A Fresh day - Trip to Ocean Park, one of the most exciting place in Hong Kong after Disney Land. It is Thrill rides, giant pandas and a world-class aquarium keep Ocean Park on Hong Kong's favourite list. You can see How beautiful and big it is. Saksh had another round of amazing rides , Hair raiser really raised my hair, Water jumping was thrilling...... We saw biggest Marine world here. Some more beautiful Pandas, Penguins were exciting to see.. We were walking in between fishes all around us!!!!
Another beautiful day started where we planned to roam around the city on our own as we had seen all beautiful places in Hong Kong by now. Went to Avenue of Stars to see its day beauty. It was just as amazing in day as it was in night. Went to see Hong Kong museum and as we all are too interested, spent good 2 hours in seeing things. It was mix of history , culture of Hong Kong.
Wanted to go Macau but next time...
Few other things to be noted - Its not very good place for Vegetarians or Indians to eat. However, we found one restaurant The Sangeet which is an Indian restaurant and we loved it!!
Saksham's words - Thank you Mom and Dad for bringing me to HongKong. Meeting Mickey, Minnie and other characters was fun and exciting. Talking to them was Dream come true. Rides in Disneyland and Ocean Park were thrilling and has got me into a new world of Thrilling rides. Just Loved Hongkong!!!!!!!
