Diwali & Its special for me

I believe in :
“The truth is that existence wants your life to become a festival…because when you are unhappy, you also throw unhappiness all around. So be happy, and enjoy life as festival ”

Diwali is my FAVOURITE Festival. For me , its festival of pooja(prayers) , lights, decoration, meeting friends, exchange happiness, sweets, candels, diyas ,shopping , masti and so on..........

I have celebrated all my Diwalis till date with parents. At Ludhiana till i was unmarried and at Dehradun after i got married and last Diwali @US with not many lights around......

This was my first Diwali at Hyderabad in our new home..

@Diwali day - At our sweet home.....

This was special Diwali where we wanted to decorate our home and light our home with all kind of candles, diyas and lights.

The day started early around 7 and we created Rangoli outside our home to welcome Goddess Lakhsmi, Saraswati and Ganesha and ofcourse our dear friends.

Called everyone (parents , friends) and wished everyone a very Happy Diwali!

We finished putting all decoration and diyas in whole home. Got ready and went for some Diwali Shopping. Had Prayer material, Sweets, Gifts for friends , some more diyas and candles. Not forgetting to mention Saksham's crackers :)

We missed our parents.

Our Home @ Diwali

Went to few of our freinds homes to wish Diwali and came back. We had great fun in preparing some good eating stuff. I learnt paiting Diyas from Aruna (in my team) and got some Diyas painted with Saksham.

Took some rest and we were ready in our traditionals for Diwali pooja. Lit the Diyas, went for Pooja to temple with Diyas. Came back and did Lakshmi Pooja at home. The home was so while and yello with all kind of candles, lights and diyas. I love my home.

We got some freinds at home, had dinner, went for bursting crackers. Had fun the whole day!!
Happy Diwali to all and here are few more clicks:
